Construction of new wastewater treatment facility and upgrade of existing wastewater treatment facility. Total prime contract was in excess of $30,000,000. RTD worked as a sub/trade-contractor to Prime GC/CM CDM Constructors, Inc. RTD Contract amount was $7,500,466.00. RTD’s contract work consists of total construction of cast-in-place reinforced concrete work (8,500CY) including new Headwork’s, new East Train Aeration Basins, (2) 100FT Secondary Clarifiers, RAS/WAS Pump Station, East Train Blower Building, Internal Recycle Pump Station, (4) new Effluent Disk Filters, new cast-in-place Reaeration Basin, UV Disinfection Facility, 1,300 LF 36” Plant Outfall Piping with full dewatering system on piling, replace existing Raw Sewage Influent Pumps with (3) new 215HP dry pit submersible Influent Pumps, piping and valves, demolition and replacement of (4) existing 75FT Secondary Clarifiers, demolition and replacement of diffused air systems for (4) existing West Train Aeration Basins, replacement of exiting west Train Blowers and Blower Building, demolition and removal of all existing unused structures, construction of new Sludge Dewatering Facility, all site and structure excavation and backfill, site work, 8,000LF of large diameter yard piping up to 36” diameter including several large diameter tie-ins. RTD contract also included installation of $5,000,000 of Owner purchased process equipment.
Project included several pump stations. 1) New Raw Sewage Influent Pumps including (3) new 215HP dry pit submersible Influent Pumps, 2) Plant Water Pump Station including (4) 75HP vertical turbine pumps and 6” – 12” discharge piping and valves. 3) RAS/WAS Pump Station including (4) 50HP Return Activated Sludge Pumps.
RTD self-performed 90% of all the work including all formwork, concrete work, dewatering systems, excavation & backfills, site work, yard piping, process equipment installation, pumps installation and all process piping.
